Kia like the car

Kia like the car

“My name is Kia, like the car! Oh Im not sure you want to photograph me, I’m not good on photos. I’m 66 you know? I’ve just been to congratulate my daughter who’s birthday it is today. Went by with some roses. And you know who else has their birthday today? Guess! Donald Duck! (Kalle Anka) I think he turns eighty!”

Kia continues.. “I have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. And my youngest daughter is the same age as my oldest granddaughter! Funny like that. So she’s auntie Molly to her.”

“And the other day I went to see Amadeus Mozart and the funniest thing, the person playing Mozart looked exactly like me! Mint and pink outfit with the curly hair. I think the best thing in life might be music. I fall in a trance, completely in the now, going through an emotional journey. I call it a musical orgasm!”

Inger

Inger

One more of Inger. We actually spotted her socks first, is she into punk we thought.. And then the fact that she was sitting next to a homeless man speaking to him at length intrigued us. What could that say about a person? And then when we finally spoke to her it turned out she had worked with him for many years within psychiatry and addiction.
Lesson learned? Stay open-minded. And make contact!

Inger

“I’m Inger. I’m a pensioner from working within psychiatry and addiction for many years. I have seen it all. That kind of makes you humble. So now I simply want to enjoy life, hoping to live as well and as long as I can. So I’m gonna go ‘enjoy’ a walk now. See you later!”

Stand up against racism

Stand up against racism

Even the very air turned cooler after the EU elections.
It is time for us to be bolder. To stand up.
Have we not suffered enough of racism, sexism, ageism throughout the years? Do we not learn from mistakes?
Listen to your elders. Listen to Madonna.

“My name is Kristin and this is Rabbit.” Unusual name for a dog? “Yes we named her that before we moved here from Solido, San Francisco where I’m originally from. Been living here for two years now and I have to say I think we like it better than San Fran!”
